The Ceramic Button

Hello I’m Claire, a ceramic artist who makes decorations, keepsakes and button-style treasures out of the finest white porcelain. Each and every piece is lovingly handcrafted and decorated with whimsical lettering and enchanting images inspired by the ever-changing seasons and special moments in life’s story. Hours of love, care and patience is put into creating each miniature piece and after three firings in my kiln they should, (with a little care) last a lifetime.

The castle I call home is based in the Cotswolds where I live with my two little princes and husband. The Ceramic Button started as a hobby in 2018 and allowed me to get creative and unwind after a stressful day at school. The last four years I have been refining my craft and now I have finally been able to exchange the classroom for what I like to call ‘clay corner’, my happy place at home where the magic unfolds.
